Sourcing Coordinator - Arlington, TX
Position Summary / Objective:
It is the primary responsibility of the Sourcing Coordinator to identify savings, respond to quote requests, maintain system data, and find the best approved source to meet the customer’s requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Work with new and existing suppliers to obtain product or service information such as cost and availability.

Maintain costing files from suppliers and maintain accurate system data.

Work with the supply chain department and the sales organization to identify savings opportunities and any specific costing requirements.

Identify and develop new sources for material.

Resolve issues regarding non-conforming products received from vendors as requested.

Maintain costing files from suppliers and maintain accurate system data.

Request new items and maintain them in the ERP as appropriate.
Required Skills / Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Sourcing, Planning, or Purchasing.

Aerospace Chemicals, Hardware & MRO Product Purchasing experience strongly preferred.

Experience working with an established ERP strongly preferred.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
