EPOCAST® 1645 FR A/B is a two component, flame retardant, ultra-low density, epoxy void and edge filler. This advanced material is designed for edge filling and reinforcing honeycomb structures that are used in interior applications in the aerospace industry. Both A and B are non-sticky, extremely soft paste which can be easily mixed together and cleaned with water after application. It has a service temperature up to 176.6 degrees Celsius and is flame retardant meeting FAR 25.853a requirements. EPOCAST® 1645 will set quickly at room temperature and is sandable shortly after it has been applied. The product offers high strength, low density, and a rapid component assembly.
